The paper of your contribution will be published in the proceedings (on USB stick) and in the internet as PDF file. We want your contribution to get the desired attention and circulation, but cannot control or regulate the use, especially in the internet. The copyright belongs to the author.

To protect your rights as author and to make the legal situation transparent for users, the DGZfP will only publish contributions which have been released by an open, certified license by the author.

The editor of the proceedings, DGZfP e.V., assumes that the author has obtained all rights of use for illustrations and texts included in this paper which are not originally created by the author. The responsibility for acquisition of the copyright belongs to the author.

  • Call for Papers

    starts in July 2017 until 31 December 2017

    Authors are requested to submit their abstracts for review.
  • Abstract Review

    until February 2018

    Steering Committee reviews all abstracts. Confirmation will be sent to the authors beginning March 2018.
  • Registration

    by 31 March 2018

    Registration and payment of presenting authors by 31 March 2018
  • Submission of Full Paper

    by 30 April 2018

    Submission of full papers until 30 April 2018 is required, otherwise it will not be part of the proceedings.
  • Programme published

    in April 2018

    Programme will be published in April 2018
  • Submission of Presentation

    June 2018

    Will be available on-site.

Abstract Submission

Submit your abstract by 15 January 2018 and become a part of the programme.

Presentation Types

You can choose between different presentation types:

  • oral presentation (20 min. incl. discussion)
  • poster presentation (DIN A0 portrait format)

Please also choose the relevant topic from the list given in the submission form.


The Steering Committee will review and rate all abstracts. The programme will be established according to these ratings. All authors who have submitted their abstract according to the guidelines will be informed about acceptance in February 2018.

Student Award

During abstract submission you can choose if your abstract is suitable for the student award.

The presenting student must be enroled at a university and the presented work must be developed within their bachelor, master or doctoral thesis. Only one submission per student candidate is accepted into the competition.


The abstract has to be a two page extended abstract formatted according to the given template.

For the full papers of accepted abstract the same template can be used. The full papers should have a length of 6 – 10 pages.

The German Society for Non-Destructive Testing (DGZfP) is a not-for-profit organisation and the body which coordinates all NDT activities in Germany.

DGZfP has always attached particular importance to the training of NDT personnel. Courses and examinations are now held in nine NDT methods at three different levels. DGZfP also offers initial and advanced radiation protection training in accordance with the relevant guidelines.

The Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) integrates research, assessment and consultation in technology and chemistry under one umbrella.
